Miss Cadaver 2014

I have been super busy at the moment, hopping from one event to another and forgetting to share what I have been up to so I have dedicated this post to Miss Cadaver.

Being asked to be involved in this event tickled me pink and as it sounds Miss Cadaver is the pageantry of the undead organised by Sandra of Hamiltons Necrodancer and Freelunch Street Theater Company! Audience members and judges are treated to a variety of glamorous or not so glamorous contestants in various states of death as they battle it out in various talent sections. This year I sponsored Sandra’s hair, a H&MUA voucher and added the finishing touches to on a certain contestants look!

This year delightful burlesque performer Pixie Twist unleashed a dubious and rather classy ( in the broadest sense ) new sheila onto the Miss Cadaver circuit. Lightening Linda! Linda hails from west Auckland, loves Woodeys, concerts and men with beards! She doesn’t seem to concerned with her current state and rather embraces some new found talents!

I took Lightening Linda’s hair on a journey for the night, for those who know the Pixie she has beautiful silky fine hair that runs down her back!

Of course Lightening Linda was given the vintage touch! How handy that she had the perfect accessories to work with.

The overall winner of the evening was the amazing Reverend Mother Emerita – she puts a whole new twist on ice-cream!
